5/5 - Small, tasty, informative., by Vincent Ku, for From the vine to the glass - Selection, the 24/01/2023
They try to keep as much manual process as possible, even after 7 generations of champagne making. This makes their wines very lively and fresh, fully expressive of their ex-marine bed terroir (with fossils to prove it) and the grape variety. We particularly liked the lightness of cuvee origine made of pinot blanc, and the berry aromas of cuvee excellence. Rent a car and set time aside from the big houses, you'll not regret it. The hostess was professional and very friendly too.

5/5 - Champagne Tassin - A small winery with an immense passion, by Lynne and Greg, for From the vine to the glass - Initiation, the 13/10/2022
The owner is clearly very proud of her Champagne winery started by her Grandfather. We were warmly greeted and given a short breakdown of the tour and brief history of Tassin and Champagne making. Christine, the owner, was very passionate and informative throughout the tour of the cellars explaining in detail the process of producing Champagne and, clearly very proud of the fact that so many of their procedures were done in the traditional way by hand. We have not tried any of the Champagne we bought yet but have no doubt it will be just as full bodied and bubbly as our visit - thank you.
